Senior Design Engineer (ACMV)

JOB SCOPE:

  • Responsible for tender surveying, checking of documents, and understanding of specifications
  • Preparation of tender and contract documents, including quantity takeoff &, liaise with Clients & Consultants
  • To liaise with the supplier, Main Contractors, and sub-contractors to prepare the costing for tender submission
  • Respond and follow up to Client’s queries for submitted tender
  • Source out for the new potential client /tender based on the company platform provided
  • Attend site briefing (if necessary) during pre-tender and tender interview
  • Preparing, negotiating, and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts
  • Prepare quotations, variation orders, BQ, and cost planning
  • Coordinating submission of documents to clients and relevant authorities
  • Maintain proper documents and filing of drawings for all tenders and projects according to requirements as per ISO standards
  • Responsible for the project team drafting activities including AutoCAD, Revit & BIM drafting
  • Produce accurate ACMV drawings according to project requirements
  • Coordinate with engineers on drawings
  • Prepare sketch & detail drawing of the building according to requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least a Diploma, Advanced /Higher /Graduate Diploma /Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent 

    Min 3 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor cum Drafter in the ACMV field.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity positive working attitude and a good team player
    • Able to work 5.5 working days per week
Quantity Surveyor (ACMV)

JOB SCOPE:

  • To liaise with the supplier, Main Contractors, and sub-contractors to prepare the costing for tender submission

  • Good Knowledge and familiarity with ACMV and HVAC systems
  • Preparing, negotiating, and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts
  • Prepare quotations, variation orders, BQ, cost planning
  • Coordinating submission of documents to clients and relevant authorities
  • Self -driven, independent, and team player

REQUIREMENTS:

PROJECT ENGINEER (ACMV)

JOB SCOPE:

  • Experience in ACMV, HVAC, Chillers and etc.
  • Reviewing and management of all design documentation for ACMV, HVAC & Control system
  • Able to understand construction shop drawing
  • Familiar calculation with heating/cooling load, equipment sizing (MV& AHU), Electrical load and etc
  • Installation of HVAC Equipment’s, chillers, air handling units, MV system, packaged units, VRV system, split units.
  • Assist and support project team members in completing the project
  • Determine budget, project schedules and scope of work and deploy appropriate staff
  • Study and assess drawings, plans, specifications and other documents relating to construction project
  • Direct, lead and support other engineering skilled personnel in managing and executing multiple tasks and projects
  • Review, assess and evaluate execution of the project on a regular basis
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues arising in a project
  • Carry out site visits throughout the project in order to record information on the progress of the project against the agreed programme
  • Verification of material requisition and taking-off quantities / site measurement
  • Attend to site tests and inspections
  • Ensuring quality standards and all health & safety requirements are adhered to
  • Ensure completion of the project in a timely manner and within the budgetary limits
  • Preparation of progress payment claims and variation orders
  • Preparation of subcontractor’s award schedule
  • Develop project reports on a timely basis
  • Maintain, manage and document all project reports and statements
  • Other related duties, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess adequate qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Direct work experience within construction industry
  • Experience in handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of codes, standards and procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Helpdesk application, etc
